Summary

The workshop re-affirmed the role of Elders as keepers of the knowledge.
The development of protocols to be used in ‘Welcome to Country’ ceremonies acknowledges the relationship with the land, the native title and cultural property rights of traditional owners and will engender awareness in the broader community of tribal boundaries and Aboriginal cultural values.
