Koorie Women Mean Business show cased the singing talents of Victorian Aboriginal Women with Stirin It Up a Concert during NAIDOC week 2001.

We understand the lack of infrastructure support for Aboriginal Women in showcasing the diversity of their visual art medium, so we created an opportunity to incorporate the concert with an exhibition showcase for Aboriginal Women into a broader audience.
The project promoted to the wider community a positive image, understanding of and respect for the diversity of Aboriginal Women’s talents in Victoria in one day.
